The nutritional values

Rice is also an excellent source of protein. It provides the body
with all eight of the essential amino acids, and is more nutritionally
balanced than other types of cereal.

Wholegrain rice and parboiled rice have a particularly high
proportion of vital elements to include vitamins, especially B1
and B6, Niacin and vitamin E, and the minerals Potassium,
Phosphorus, Iron and Magnesium.

But rice is also important to healthy eating for what is not in it.
100 g cooked rice has less than 1 g fat. Rice is also cholesterol-
free and so is the perfect ingredient for a low-fat, cholseterol-free
diet. It is also low in Sodium and helps in the event of dehydration.
